Takeshi Yoshida, Founder CEO
Veteran banker and seasoned fintech entrepreneur turned Lean, Agile, digital organizational transformation and innovation project management specialist with a distinctive learning and development approach.
Organizational Transformation: “Transformation as waterfall” is a common pitfall that causes organizational transformation projects, including digital transformation projects, go stagnant. Transformation projects can be dramatically resuscitated and accelerated with an iterative and incremental adoption-transition-transformation Agile approach. The key is learning – my focus is to coach leaders and train teams on how to use Lean & Agile for problem solving the many challenges that emerge from change.
FI-Fintech Innovation Project Management: With 20+ years combined banking and startup entrepreneurship experience, I know first-hand what it takes to drive a successful innovation program for banks with Fintech partners. In my three years as Chief Commercial Officer at Canopy (private wealth Fintech, Singapore) leading up to the successful completion of the Credit Suisse strategic partnership deal, I learned the importance of managing the velocity difference and control, compliance and process gap between startup and client bank project teams.
Lean & Agile: I am a staunch practitioner of Lean & Agile. My favored Agile approach is a hybrid Design Thinking + Scrum routine that combines the best of Design Thinking’s ideation power and the disciplined iterative build cycle of Sprints.
Learning & Development: My approach is distinctively learning focused. I coach leaders on how to set an empathy rich and emotionally safe working environment for teams, and train teams on how to ideate and build solutions iteratively with Lean & Agile.
Marketing Strategy: At the core I am a product marketer fascinated with the dual scientific and creative nature of marketing. I have over $4bn of product placement track record across 20+ years in Asia and beyond, including SaaS and consumer products.
Digital & Creative: I am hands-on with all things digital from web development (HTML/CSS, CMS), contextual and visual creative work (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, professional imagery), CX/UX, SEO/SEM/SMO/EDM, CRM/ABM, to marketing automation platforms, management information systems, and business intelligence and analytics management.
Finance: My financial industry expertise is uniquely balanced among sell-side (fixed income, derivatives, investment banking), buy-side (asset management) and private wealth (through B2B fintech Canopy) experiences.
