Functional Expertise

  • Marketing: At the core I am a product marketer fascinated with the dual scientific and creative nature of marketing. I have over $4bn of product placement track record across 20+ years in Asia and beyond, including SaaS and consumer products.

  • Process Management: I am a staunch practitioner of Lean & Agile. My favored Agile approach is Scrum (with Kanban elements) and I lead both product development and customer facing resources to critically work together by embracing the build-measure-learn spirit of Lean.

  • Organizational Behavior: Lean & Agile promotes servant leadership and distributed decision making among team members. I further apply Positive Psychology, Conversational Intelligence and other learnings from the field of Cognitive Psychology to help teams build an environment of rich empathy and ample emotional safety.

  • Digital & Creative: I am hands-on with all things digital from web development (HTML/CSS, CMS), contextual and visual creative work (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, professional imagery), CX/UX, SEO/SEM/SMO/EDM, CRM/ABM, to marketing automation platforms, management information systems, and business intelligence and analytics management.

In addition, Finance is a given as a former banker, and Strategy is ubiquitous among all of my activities.
